A museum designed for participation.
Opened to the public in August 2018, the museum combines exhibition, research, education and hands-on cultural experience. Its galleries introduce the evolution and artistic expression of Chinese characters, while dedicated learning spaces turn observation into participation.
Visitors can explore character spelling and reading, rubbing, engraving, calligraphy, painting and appreciation. These activities help international learners understand how written language carries history, philosophy, aesthetics and everyday meaning.
